With a number of exclusive events and offers for the book trade the Fair guarantees a successful start into the new business year.
Our services for you:
- Member bookstores of the Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels (German Publishers and Booksellers Association) and of the European and International Booksellers Federation (EIBF) receive two free tickets each.
- German and international trainees are also entitled to one free ticket each.
- The Frankfurter Buchmesse will help you organise a group trip with discount vouchers, free bus parking passes and informational documents.
- Decorative materials for bookstores on the theme of the Frankfurter Buchmesse and Guest of Honour Georgia can be ordered free of charge beginning in August.
- Booksellers receive an exclusive voucher booklet with many offers from our exhibiting publishers.
- Further entry tickets are available for booksellers for a special rate at the cash desks on the exhibition site. Remember to bring a proof of employment, such as: a business card, a letter of proof from your employer or a mention of your name on the shop’s website.

Bookseller Centre (4.0)
The bookseller centre is the new meeting point for booksellers from around the world. Next to the beloved café, this year we offer a supporting programme with talks, discussions and presentations on current topics in the bookseller industry. Once more a free cloakroom and free wifi are included in the service.
Zentrum Börsenverein (Börsenverein Centre)
Here you can find information about the Börsenverein’s services as well as about the products and services offered by the MVB marketing and publishing service of Buchhandel GmbH and of Buchwert GmbH & Co. KG.
Retail Booksellers Committee
The team of the branch office of the Retail Booksellers Committee will be happy to advise you on any association- or industry-related questions you may have and has an extensive portfolio of topics on hand specifically concerning the retail book trade. This year, we are once again offering our member bookstores free expert advice on questions regarding business management, web presence and legal issues. Interesting specialist talks for booksellers round off your visit to the fair.
Azubistro (Trainee Bistro)
This familiar and popular meeting point once again awaits trainees in publishing and retail bookselling – a place for chatting and debating, and above all for making new contacts. The focus is on sharing experiences and exchanging information – including about professional prospects after completion of one’s training.
